West Red Lake Gold has reopened the Madsen Mine and is working through the environmental approvals for an advanced exploration program at the Rowan Mine. The recent Rowan Preliminary Economic Assessment has shown that there is the potential to produce 35,000 ounce/y over 5 years from a ramp access underground deposit.
