Building Stronger Partnerships
As the mining industry continues to evolve, so too must its relationships with Indigenous communities. Indigenous nations are not only rights holders and stewards of the land but also increasingly recognized as full partners in economic development. Across Canada and around the world, a growing number of Indigenous-led mining projects and inclusion strategies are setting new standards for sustainability, governance, and mutual benefit. The time has come to move beyond consultation and into genuine collaboration — where Indigenous leadership is not an add-on, but a central part of how we define success in mining.
